Ear plates for torn ear piercings

If your earlobes are torn, earrings, especially studs, can slip through. A silver earring backing plate can help in this situation. The plate is placed in front of the earlobe before inserting the earring. This conceals the stretched earlobe and prevents the earring from slipping through. If the skin is already loose, it's recommended to also use the support clasp.
